Re: Need pics of centered HUMOUNT

I really like the formula mount, but Im pretty sure the head units trim ring will cover the "Pontiac" part.

That kit in the other picture, by the way, is a metra 99-4544. M.S.R.P. is $18.99.

I also like the formula one, I want to order a custom one the says "Formula 350" and Im pretty sure the unit sits in flush to the mount like the above pic so I don't think you use the radios trim ring

I just wanted to throw in a pic. I love this faceplate. Everytime someone is looking at my ride it's the one thing that I have to point out.

I was thinking of getting the Red Iroc aswell, did you go with the red LEDs or the red mini lamps for the light? And do you know what the difference in look would be?

I went with the LED's. No idea what the lights would look like but my LED's look great. Check out my profile, there is a picture of it lit up in the dark. It looks great. Just make sure to use plenty of metal tape to block out the light that bleeds through everywhere it's not supposed to if you don't. I bought extra tape for mine. What they supplied wasn't enough.

I see what you mean. That looks nice! Well worth 100.oo! Think about it: As long as it's sturdy and you stay with a single DIN head unit, it should last a long time. I like the IROC-Z one as well, though I dont think I would hook up the lights at all.

that's my old setup in the first photo (old user name)! haha, but that's actually not the HUMount kit, its an inexpensive scosche setup. I liked it, but definitely liked the HUMount kit better for looks.
