Radio Lights
So after messing with adapters for the harness so I wouldn't have to splice to add a line out to my amp....the lights on the radio work intermittently, sometimes I will fire the car up and turn the lights on and both of them will work, then sometimes only one will work, and then sometimes none of them will work.
Noticed the other night while driving that the lights were again off, and then went and did some donuts with some friends and when I drove away the lights were back on again.
I've opened the radio up and taken it all apart and the bulbs are not blown or burnt and they are correctly seated so they should have a connection. Also, the wire for the lights in the harness is good with no exposed areas or shorts and as far as I know, connects correctly into the adapter into the back of the radio. The plug on the back of the radio for the wires is good also.
Its starting to bug me.....I don't know what else to do. I sprayed all the connectors for the bulbs and the wires off with electric parts cleaner and it didn't solve it.
And just to be clear its a stock UM7 head unit AM/FM Radio.
Any ideas would be appreciated!! Thanks.
