cd players from others models
tried to search this but couldnt find anything maybe i didnt use the right wording. But anyone have a list or just know individual examples of cd players from other gm models that are similar and direct plug and play radios for a 91 camaro, i know you can just about any of them to work up into atleast the mid 00's but i know there were several models that came with very similar radios to the stock units for our cars just with different lettering or lighting or small differences. i think the caprice was one and im sure there was atleast a olds that did too.

Re: cd players from others models
Just about any gm cd player up to at least 2002 will be plug and play. There were a few that used the same style as the stock 89-92 camaro such as cadillac and olds and or course chevy.Date codes for these units would most likely be 89-94?However the 90-92 camaros were the only ones to use yellow print..I have an early 90`s buick cd player in both of my Irocs...Looks like it came that way from the factory

thats the type im looking for something that "looks" correct for the car i dont care if it was yellow print, i know the type i have in my 95 k1500 will fit but it looks too new for the car, didnt even think to look at caddys. i like the looks of that buick one, looks like it could be factory.
