Car: 85 IROC-Z / 88 GTA
Engine: 403 LSx (Pending) / 355 Tuned Port
Transmission: T56 Magnum (Pending) / T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 / ?
It all depends on how much room you are willing to sacrifice and how much skill you have. I put a set of 6.5" separates into a custom built pair of kicks and they don't take up too much room. In my case I don't really think that there is enough room behind my speakers for them to really operate properly at low frequencies, but I was willing to make that sacrifice for the sake of the larger driver.
