Axle/Gears: 2.73 stock rear end
Kee Audio; Subwoofer Enclosures
Hey all, has anyone dealt with Kee audio? They have a pre-fabbed subwoofer box for the trunk and was wondering if anyone has bought this box and how it is?? located here http://www.keeaudio.com/enclosures.html

Kee has lots of good reviews on LS1.com (4th gen forum).
just make sure the box space (cu. ft) matches your woofer requirements.

(New to Audio) How do i know how much Cu. Ft i need?? I emailed them, they stated that each speaker location has 1cu ft of space each. Will that be enough? im waiting on pics!! will post them.

Every subwoofer requires a different sized box. Some need bigger boxes, others need smaller boxes. Take for example a 12" JL Audio WXv2 (I own these subs currently) they need 1.37cuft of space per sub. The box by Kee only has 1.0cuft per side, so that box is a bit on the small side for those subs. A 12" Sundown E2 subwoofer requires 1.0 cuft of space, so that box is perfect for those subs (Im planning on buying these subs next, which is why Im using these examples)
Now if you find you need an extra .2cuft or so, you can "trick" the subwoofer into behaving like it is in a bigger box by using polyfill stuffing. This is the pillow stuffing you can buy at walmart or other stores. Put some in (not a lot, maybe 1/2 of the chamber loose fill) and see how it plays. What the stuffing does is slow down the back sound wave inside the box as if it were a bigger box.

Oh and I cant say anthing about Kee, but it looks a lot like an Ebay company I have dealt with... Should be fairly easy for you to find out the space requirements of your sub.
Just remember, MIN box requirements = MIN BASS
