TPI swap to carb. WO/computer.........
ok,got the tired 305 TPI out of the car. Getting everything ready to install 355 w/ carb. This will be a computer-delete swap. I am using a comp 9000 dist.,edel. carb and intake,and "under-chassis" headers. I have a mallory fuel-pressure regulator mounted on the engine. everything else is reg. SBC stuff. Can anyone help me with wiring? Any tips on ign. wiring,gauge wiring,tach. wiring,fuel pump wiring(remember-this is a TPI car),etc.etc.
Any pointers on this swap will be helpful

Just swap the sensors from the tpi engine/heads to the three fifty. Neither of the manifold coolant sensors hook up to the guages, the guage sender is somewhere on the engine. Ditto for the secondary fan switch. If you have dual fans you'll need to rewire the primary fan or it won't turn on. The distributor already has a tach wire that goes to the guage cluster, and an ignition power wire, and I split that to wire my electric choke and my fuel pump relay.

I used the wiring harness out of a carbed car. And of course, the rest of the stuff will work. you will also have to wire up the fuel pump and the fans on a seperate switch.
