holley at startup

Do all Holleys run like crap until they are warmed up. My 600 takes a few minutes to warm up around 2-3. To start it I pump the gas once and she starts right up but runs rough and rumbles through the exhaust. I dont think it is rich. I dont smell gas. Is there something to adjust or is just the way these carbs are

No, they don't all run poorly when they start. Yes, there is something to adjust, it's called the "choke".
