i have this manifold

do i need to use some kind of spread bore adapter to use a qjet.
there wasnt one when i bought the car, and since the manifolds not a square bore im thinking no. But ive seen and heard stories..

I understand. Sometimes you get the "spookies" where you start thinking that everyting is going to go horribly wrong. Fortunately, this one won't be a problem for you.
You want to use the thick, open QJet gasket to mate that QJet to the Eddy intake. It's about 3/8" thick and is open everyhwere in the middle. Comes in most rebuild kits. Also available from you local auto parts store.
