1992 firebird
Picked this up this weekend. A lot better shape than my camaro. Could use the hood repainted and the seats recovered. Does anybody know where to get the hood decals for the car.

Hi there,
Those are not original decals for your year TA. They are interesting, but they are actually for an '83. Take a look at this site.
http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/1983ta.php
Here is the page for the correct 91-92 TAs

If you really want a larger hood bird, I would suggest a larger version of the 3rd gen bird already on your nose. I think that would be a nice touch.
Try this one:

If you want it in black, you may have to call them and special order it. It sure would be unique and cool-looking, IMHO. Good luck.

Re: 1992 firebird
well lots of work done today and now its time to just enjoy it for the rest of the year.
the q-form kick panels were not that fun to put in(on a scale of 1 to 10, and 10 being hard it was about a 15), and i now seem to have a problem with the headlights popping up when you turn the driving lights on(they never did this before) so i will probably have to pull the drivers side panel out and see if i pinched a wire or something. but other than that the black carpet makes the grey seats look almost good(lol just so dirty they wont clean up). hopefully my neighbor gets the sub box built soon so that i can call the stereo done. for speakers i am running a kicker 6.5 in the front and a kicker 6.75 in the back location. i do plan on putting the 2 kicker 8 inch comp vrs i had in my pickup in the trunk.

Wow, looking really good! for the seat covers, I have taken the seats apart and tossed the covers in the washing machine (gentle cycle) and gotten a TON of dirt out of them. They look almost new.

Nice find but don't those kick panel speakers get in the way when you're driving? What did you decide to do with the hood decal?

Re: 1992 firebird
The speakers do intude a fair ways into the foot area. If my car was a standard it would be a big problem. As it sits now I am training myself to keep my foot away from there. As for the decals I am not sure yet i havent really done much thinking about it. I have just been driving the car to get as much enjoyment out of it as I can before I put it away for winter.
