Just picked up a Triple Black '92 Z28
Couple years ago I picked up a '91 Z28 in red that was supposed to be a keeper. Unexpected life changes had me trying to accomplish things quicker than planned and I had to let her go.
Ive had this working for a few weeks now. I placed a deposit on it and finally picked her up tonight.
1992 Z28
Triple Black
Cloth, w/ Power
Automatic
Needs paint, dashpad, console lid
Has 198k on it but drove her home 52 miles without a hiccup.
Purchased from the original owner, clean carfax. Original owner is in her late 70's. Her and her husband bought in their 50's
Mechanically she runs great. Threw a battery in and started right up. No valve seal smoke, no Service engine lights. Tight suspension, no rattles. Religiously maintained by a local shop.

Cool project. Verts are awesome. Never wanted a vert. Had to sell myself on this one due to TPI 5speed. And now I LOVE verts.

Just checked out your build. Nice car. This is now my 5th and hopefully last. I never wanted a vert until I stumbled across my previous one (91 Z28) since then I think Vert is the way to go.
Only part that sucks is I'm not someone that really likes heat so the top will really only come down spring and fall.

I have the sister car to yours. I looked forever for a triple black 90 iroc or 92 25th car and finally found one in about 2005. They just didn't make that many to start with and when you weed out the ones with rust and other damage and nice ones with 2 price tags it just takes time. Congrats on the car. I'm going to put a 350 in mine and other than the 9 bolt posi with PBR rear disc and black leather gta interior I'm going to leave mine alone and just drive it. October is a great convertible month.

As a side note, depending on what you expect to see car fax is a waste of money. Lots of its that can cause an incident not to appear on a report. My vert shows having never been in an accident. BS. Door, fender and front bumper have been replaced.
