How in the heck do you install a new fan switch???
What's the deal? I go to replace my stocker with the a hypertech
and they have some metal connector on one end with no place to connect to. The direction say connect to a wire? What?? Do they mean I have to cut the wire connected to the old fan switch and solder it to that metal part on the new one? Help because I'm driving in LA in the summer without a freaking fan.

Sounds like you're looking at your temp guage sending unit on your driver's side head and not the fan switch which in on the passenger side head near the #6 cylinder. You shouldn't have to cut or solder any wires, should just swap the switches and plug the factory connector to it.

No, I am onn the passenger side head between the #6 and #8
plugs. So I should use the factory connector?? I thought one would have to use the hypertech connector. But anyway my stock connector is cracked and there is a break in the wire should I replace it anyway?
