I'am planning on replaceing my A/C system.. What all parts do I need to replace to convert it over to R134 Will the new compressor be R134 Ready? What parts do I need to replace!

you can buy a r-134 retrofit kit for approx. 40 bucks....a lot less then recharging your sys. with 45 $per pound r-12. of course you have to purchase r-134a refrigerant (about 4$ per pound). assuming you have a orface tube system, the kit comes with retrofit service fittings and an orfice tube, as well as numberous o-rings, you will also need a new accumulator. you compressor should be compatable with 134a.
