Any pics of camaro front air dam?
I was wondering if anyone has any pics of their front air dam and the pieces around it? My car has the fan running constantly and hovers around 210 to 220 with it on all the time. My air dam is in place, it's only one piece and there is no other plastic sheilds on the bottom. I'm wondering if I am missing one that actually functions also. Any input would be great.

Sounds like you've got what there is.
These cars run hot - 220 is normal for a 3rd gen Fbod. Only way to reduse it is lower Tstat, lower "on" fan switch, or seperate adjustable fan controller and ditch the OEM stuff.

yeaa ive read that these cars run hot for emission reasons, gas burns more completely or something like that, you would have to just switch tstat and fan switch, cooler is better for performance, i think the only down side is u might see a slight decrease in gas mileage.

Yeah I already have a painless adjustable fan switch. It comes on around 200 and never shuts off. It keeps my voltage below 13 all the time too.

Get a tranny cooler, Hook up a switch so you can controll your fan, 180 or 170 thermostat. Flush your system through one of the lines going accross the pass side (the one that goes to the motor). This way there are no air pockets.
What this will do is eliminate the third gen temp drop. You know how it goes up to maye 240, than it drops to 220 where it runs at. So, engage your fan on whatever your temp the thermostat is rated at, and your car will run at 180-190 all the time.
AIR DAM IS A MUST!

Thanks for the reply. That looks like what I have. Mine is running around 190 now and about 205 to 210 on 90 degree days. It feels so slugish when it runs that warm. But I'll live with it.
