HSR Heater Control Valve Routing

On my old setup, there was a water passage off the front of the intake that went into the heater control valve. I have a couple of plugs in the front of my HSR intake, and there's a plug in my water pump. Do I need to tap off one of those for my Heater Control Valve?

Any help would be appreciated for those who have done the HSR install.

The fitting in your water pump is for the return heater hose on cars that don't have the extra port on the radiator. I'd think that the water port you'd want is on the intake. Looking at what pictures I could find, I'd say you probably want the one on the passenger's side
