A/C problem please help?

OK, im a newbie with cars.
car details
1995 Chevrolet Camaro z28 v8 5.7

my a/c use to cool, until i decided it was time to put new spark plugs.
while i was taking one spark plug out, suddenly a spark came out (not a spark plug) and i had the battery connected. i dont know if it matters if the battery is connected, but then after puting all 8 spark plugs. The a/c stoped working. what has happened. i checked the fuses and relays they are all good. has anything gone bad or needs repair. plz help me out.

I am not a big one for coincidence so I figure there is a good possibility the spark, and no A/C could be related. If you were working on the driver’s side when you got the spark, you may possibly have mashed one of the wires to the A/C on that side. I am not sure if any of the A/C wiring is energized with the ignition off however. I would first check the area in and around where you witnessed this spark for damaged wiring. If you find any, replace it. Then go check your fuses, hopefully a spark = blown fuse.
