Car: Looking
constant fan running?
Could someone please explain how to wire my electric fane to a switch in the car so I can run it continually during the summer? I order the lower temp coolant relay switch from Hawks, and it runs just as hot as it did before.
I searched the previous posts to no avail.
Thanks ,
Kevin

Re: constant fan running?
If I recall correctly,
Find the fan switch (mine is in the head on the passenger side) splice the single wire coming from it. Do not cut it. Run the spliced wire and another wire hooked to a ground into the cabin. Place a switch between them and ground one end.
The switch closes the circut when it gets hot. By adding a splice with a ground you can flip it on when you want, but it will still come on automatically.

This link has lots of good info, better than what I just told you. Have you read it?
