Over heating or no?

Engine: was 305 LG4 now 355 HO
Transmission: TH700r4
Axle/Gears: posi 373
Over heating or no?

If I have a 160 temp and my Car gets to 220 sometime when Im stoped or driveing slow but no Higher is that over heating?

Doesn't sound like it... that's pretty much what the factory setup does.

If you have A/C that is the temp the right hand fan turns on.

ur factory fan swicth is in the side of the head and it turns the fan on at 215-220 u can get an after market fan swicth. running 200 and above is not good for a motor. nor power. motor makes more power a round 170-190 .the reason is because when ur motor gets hot it tell the computer to be lean on the fuel.so when u go to race ur not getting all the fuel u need.this keeps the motor from over heating when the temp is high.try it take ur car out and try it around 170-190.and then try it when its hot.steve
