A/C Box Removal Question

Ok, I've done the search and have been reading up on the removal of the a/c box from under the hood of the Camaro and the question for those of you who have done this, will I need to remove the passenger side header to get to lower bolts and removing of the box once it is unbolted? Thanks for any info and input on doing this job. I always thought I would put the A/C back in but I have to admit, it would be nice to have the big box out of my way and given what I do and use this car for it just makes sense to finish getting it all out and replacing it with the standard heater box which I bought from Thirdgen USA out in California, nice unit to.

You'll be amazed at how much room it frees up when you change to the non-AC box!

-Hope you don't live in Texas or somewhere like that though!!
