runs hot acell dfi
i have an acell dfi gen 6 box with calmap v6.32.i had someone setup my base calibrations for me.now, when i start it up and let it run for approx 5-8 minutes the temp goes up to 210deg.at this point i shut it down not wanting it to get too hot.i know the cooiling system is up to par, everything is brand new.i know its running rich cause i can smell it and it burns my eyes.i have not hooked up my laptop to it yet cause its getting repaired, i will get it back tomorrow.anyway the timing is right on(32 btdc).will it run hot by being too rich?at least thats what i'm thinking.i really don't know much about playing around with the fuel map i just want to get it running ok(cooler) then i will take it somewhere to have it tuned right.if it gets hot cause its rich can someone tell me how to lean it out?i know its a lot to ask but maybe someone can take a look at my fuel map for me.oh yaeh, when i shut it off i see vapor coming out of the throttle body(fuel right?)can someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!

are you sure your gauge is right? nothing should build that kind of heat that quick. Has the thermostat opened up yet? could just be a air pocket. check that stuff all first. How did you set the timing?

Try setting the table to like 20d everywhere, and make sure that it reads 20d on the crank pulley.
You can be way off on timing and/or fuel, for it to run hot.
Try about 20d at idle and then lean out the fuel to get a decent idle, then build from there.
If the Manifold temp is over ~140 you'll see some vapors. Fuel starts vaporizing at about 130d, and the higher you go the more you'll be boiling off.
You might be paying someone almost as much as a WB would cost, to tune your car, and if you had the WB you probably could match or beat their tune. They're just in it for the money, whereas you have the time to spend to figure it out.

everyone here can call me a dumb a**.i figured out what was wrong.i used the wrong intake gaskets.i used the ones that the back coolant passages(on the head like on a tbi motor)are blocked off.when i ordered the gaskets i told summit it was for a tpi motor so i assumed the gaskets that came with it were for that motor.i was wrong.it occured to me at 3:00am while i was trying to think what the problem was.this is totally my fault.i have built a total of 6 motors and everytime i order gaskets they r the correct ones.i learned my lesson to check every time.i want to thank everyone for their imput, sorry to waste your time guys....

Cool you sorted it out..
I was going to say that you might have air trapped somewhere in the coolant system, can be a PITA to "burp" at times, and can create the temps that you observed. BW
