Car: 85 iroc Engine: L-69 305 Transmission: T-5 manual | error code and ecm
ive been getting an intermitant code 42, wich is the ignition module, and when its on i lose the electronic advance
well i just undug it from the snow and went to see if i could find the problem, well when i rechecked the codes it gave me a 24, 42, and 45
unplugged the battery and checked the connections on the ecm, unplugged and replugged a couple times
restart car and now back to just the code 42
ive replaced the ignition module and checked all wiring and connectors i can think of
next guess is replace the ecm?
any of you guys have any other ideas to try first? or is the ecm the next move | | |
