Code 45

I just got done spending a week or so tracking down a problem (engine would cut out intermittently) only to have to bring it to a shop and get charged up the @$$ for it.

Turns out I had a bad MAF and the oxygen sensor was shot, so I had those replaced.

I'm beginning to hate computer controlled cars at this point (which is why I have a '74 Nova in the garage )

Just tonight on the way home, I was cruising down the road at a stead 40mph and looked down to see the SES light on. I wanted to shoot the friggen thing.

Get home, check codes, spits out 45.

The other day I got a random code 32 (?!?!?! The MAF is brand spanking new???) I cleared it and it hasn't returned (yet...)

Sooooooooo considering the MAF is new and the oxygen sensor is new, along with:

Wires
Cap
Rotor
Plugs (about 20,000 miles old)
Tuned TPS (.54v)

What else could be the problem? I know I need to check for fuel pressure, but shouldn't the tools (and I mean people) have noticed anything the first time I had my car in?

I almost can't wait to save up the money for the rebuild on the Nova, It seems like the older they get, the easier and better they run!!!

Re: Code 45

Oh holy hell-You know what I did after seeing code 32 a few times?!?!I converted my ecu/tpi to speed density. F*CK MAF....that sensor is SOOO picky if your running K&N filters...the slightest crap will pop the sensor...also if the connections running to the MAF are even the slightest corroded it will throw that code(toward the end I would see that code and have to wire brush and clean the connection.) That was getting soooo rediculous for something stupid...I couldn't take it anymore!! So I and then did the conversion. Good riddens!!!
As far as the ses light....I've got a 87...so I dunno
