Low Octane Retard Routine
I read Glenn's P730 Octane retard article and I have some questions:
8D Ver. AB of TunerCat.
Here are the Low Octane settings.
IS (LOW OCTANE RETARD AMOUNT)THE ONLY THING THAT NEEDS TO BE SET TO (0) TO DISABLE IT THIS ROUTINE.
ECM Constants:
Low Octane Retard MAP Threshold - is set @ 70kpa
Low Octane Retard Diff MAP Threshold - is set @ 0.6kpa
Low Octane Knock Retard inc. Amount - is set @ 17.6 deg
Low Octane Knock Retard dec. Amount - is set @ 0.7 deg
Low Octane Knock Retard Amount - is set @ 4.9 deg ??? (set this to 0)

Low Octane Knock Retard Mult. Vs RPM
0 = 1.000
800 = 1.000
1600 = 1.000
2400 = 1.000
3200 = .804
4000 = .753
4800 = .753
5600 = .753
6400 = .753
Low Octane Knock Retard Mult. Vs MAP
20-30 = 0.000
35-45 = .502
50-70 = .753
75 = .902
80-100 = 1.000
