Trying to help a guy out

Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting what I need to do a simple favor for a guy in my car club. He has an 87 vette and I am trying to change his injector constant to match his LT1 injectors. I have his ecm and chip and I was planning on copying and simply changing the constant and giving it back to him, but unfortunately it has a hypertech chip in it . I ran into trouble because it won't open with the $32 TDF and it gives the message that it needs the $20 TDF to open and I have not been able to aquire that TDF file. I need to either come up with a stock 87 vette bin. or figure out WTH a $20 TDF file is and how to get one.
Thanks,
Charlie

The biggest favor you can do him, is telling him to do it himself.
BTW, what kind of insurance are you carring in case he were to sue you?. I've seen some friendships end over that sort of thing, ie an accident, and law suits begin.
