Will an aftermarket Fan Switch work on my '91???
I originally bought my Fan switch for my '94 Z28 which I have sold. I still have the fan switch and would like to put it in my '91, cause that thing runs hot as h*ll.
Will it work with my computer or not???

The Fan Switch (I will assume you mean the one in the passenger side head) has nothing to do with the ECM. On a dual Fan car, the Fan Switch will cause the passenger side fan (#2) to turn on. The ECM has no control of this fan. All the ECM will do is report if "a request" for Fan #2 has been "issued"; but the ECM cannot "issue the request" to turn Fan #2 on.
However, Fan #1 can be controlled by the eprom.

I went and checked out JET's website and the two fan switches look exactly the same, they just have a different part #. It only differs by one #, hopefully just to keep track of orders.

If they have a different part number, I would suspect it's because there is some differences between the two. Contact Jet and ask them what the differences are between the two just to be sure.

The difference between the 2 might be the temperature range they operate at. The temp ranges are for 160-degree and 180-degree thermostats...
