Highway Mode Spark Adv.

The question I have is:
7730 8D ver. X
In the Constants there is a setting for,
(Max. RPM Counts for Highway Spark Adv.)
It's set at 248 counts, What should it be set at to enable HMSA and what dose it do.
Thanks

As the stock Highway Mode code in the AUJP is written, that RPM level is the "minimum" RPM level needed to invoke HMSA.

The reason they use "counts" is because it uses a non-standard RPM filter. No one really knows what the "254" equates to in the actual minimum RPM needed to invoke HMSA. The 8D Hac suggests 4,700+ RPM.

Try setting the value to a low value.
