Datalogging Question

Im using the most recent version of TunerPro RT with my '86 1227165 ecm. I also have one of craig moates ostrich's hooked up. I am in the process of converting it over to the ARAP $6E. The ostrich is working great, the motor is running good, my only problem is getting TunerPro to connect for data logging. Should I be using the 1227165_160Baud.ads file or the 1227165_6E.ads Do I need to load the 6E.ads file and also select the 160 baud checkbox under edit definition file? With the ARAP loaded on the ostrich and 160baud.ads file it doesnt receive the right variables. When I use the 6E.ads file the variables look good however it will only log for a couple of minutes before it just stops receiving information. Its usualy quite an ordeal to get it to connect as well, after several attempts of unplugging, re-plugging, and restarting tunerpro it will finaly connect, but then it will stop responding after a couple minutes. I even had one occasion where it was logging for a couple of minutes and the whole laptop shut down, I tried to restart it and whole system registry was fried.

I am using the drivers provided on the cd from craig moates for the USB port. I have configured the port for 115200 bits per second, as well as setting the latency to 1. Am I missing something? The cable I am using is also from craig, I beleive it is the ALDU1 and CABL1.
