4bbl TBI up and running
I never know where to post this stuff...power addder, TBI or the DIY PROM forum.
I got the 4 barrel TBI up and running. It took alot longer than expected due to my Aeromotive FPR diaphram blowing (a whole 'nother story).
I cut into my Howell harness and wired the Siemens Deka injectors in parellel. They are 2.3 ohms each which works out well...just about twice the resistance of the OEM TBI injectors.
I got the engine to idle on its own Saturday afternoon. I can't put it in gear since I don't have a driveshaft right now. The TB is 1:1 linkage, I suspect after a couple hard bangs out the intake it needs alot of AE. I would guess the graph will be exponential. RBob pointed out a key issue I had with my original tune which was the IPW got so short the injectors weren't actually opening. This "problem" was even worse with the four 86 pph injectors. I had RPM oscillations with the RPM drop consistant with a 25:1 reading on my WBO2. From my past experience (and help from Mr.Bob) this told me the injectors weren't opening or delivering any fuel. A 1.10x to the "injector correction offset" table helped.
I remember that Grumpy once posted some info of certain injector types and where the pulse width "sweet spot" was.

Hey that thing looks pretty sick!! What ecm are you using to run it?? Ebl or modified stock ecm?? Looks like you should have lots of fun when you get her tuned properly!! Let us know what the perfomance is like when you get the rubber to the ground!!

looks good. Keep us posted on how this thing runs for you. The 4bbl tbi is on my to do list, before some turbos. Uncle sam needs me in the desert, so it'll have to wait a long time.

Re: 4bbl TBI up and running
I got to drive the car around today. Nice that it was 90°F and raining to try out that 8.5" posi I just installed
I bought a set of 4 Deka injectors from Racetronix and so far I'm amazed. They claim the fuel flow is extremely linear at various pressures and pulse widths. My short experience with them so far has proven that true. I calc'd my BPC, made a few tweaks here and there and went for a drive. This was NOT the case with the GM BBC TBI injectors. My VE tables looked like gibberish. Now after a few VE learns my tables are starting to "look normal". My BLM across the board is more consistant than it ever was before.
Turns out my first Aeromotive FPR pumped almost a 1/4 tank of gas out before I knew it was trashed.

Re: 4bbl TBI up and running
A few...
I switched the 3.08's out and put 4.10's in (again). This helped my 1400-2200 rpm spark knock issue. I spent alot of time tuning all the knock out. I wasn't having much luck so I sat down with some friends to discuss the issue and John pointed out that I still had the 3.05" pulley on top. Oops! Too much boost too soon I figure. After installing the 3.25" pulley I got all the knock tuned out but I think an Edge 2800 rpm converter is in the near future because there's still some counts between 2000-2200 rpm.

Re: 4bbl TBI up and running
The setup ran perfect. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was so reliable that I rarely brought the laptop with me and I took the WB02 out so I could save it for future tuning projects.
Back in November I took this engine/blower/injection combo out and traded it for what I have now. Money issudes kept me from staying FI so for the time being I have a Demon carb...which is a far FAR cry from the EBL
BUT my friend who has the blown-injected 350 is putting it in a super clean 93 Blazer with a T56. This should be interesting...
