Converting Celc. to Faren. in 8D

How do I convert my temperatures in 8D to Farenheight in both my xdf and ads file?

If you just need to convert back and forth, try this link:

I hope that's what you need.

Thanks but I already have a program like that on my desktop. I would like to change the actually code to reflect temps in F instead of c so I dont have to keep converting back and forth with that program.

Somebody smarter than me will have to chime in here.
I just do the convert and go with it.

Re: Converting Celc. to Faren. in 8D

C = N * .75 - 40

F = N * 1.35 - 40

N being the BIN value.

Derek theres a file posted at Moates file site that has the Fer. settings in it. Its in the older ecu format so youll have to import it into TP and convert it to the xdf format. Then just copy the formulas into your xdf file. The name of the file is 8d_v03.

Re: Converting Celc. to Faren. in 8D

Ok I was able to convert the temps in my ads file and all the constants but how do I convert the tables to show them in Deg. F. Do I just convert each temp and relable the rows or columns to reflect the converson?

yep that is how you need to do it. It can be a PITA if you have a lot of tables.
