prominator parts question

I have had a Prominator Pro installed now for a few years now. The lack of a permanent mounting has taken it's toll. The remote 8 position dial has been acting up of late and I lose connectivity from time to time. The number on the dial (any number) goes out and the car hiccups as well. It seems the connector pin at the remote box is going.

Does anyone know if Bill is still in business? The Speedtronics info links get returned to me as undeliverable. Anyone got a spare? (send me a PM) Does Mr. Moates now make/sell a replacement? Send him a message as well... no response yet. Any info or ideas you have will be greatly appreciated.

Re: prominator parts question

Post #22 indicates the Moates box should work fine as a replacement.

Re: prominator parts question

So it seems to be saying that the Prominator uses a part for the display that was supplied by or compatible with products by Moates?

Re: prominator parts question

I have used Prominator Pro available with switcher. It was said the "flash chip within is failing as I had issues it falling into limp mode periodically. Not sure if a flash chip can be had to repair. If anyone has an interest PM me.
