Couple Tiny Questions

Hey guys, its been a long time since i have done any tuning, bought a house, got married things like that dig into your free time. Well several years ago in the TBI thread, a member helped me out getting started at tuning, there is a sticky in the section called "Come in for a free Tune" That was me. Anyway, i got the car running good. I have a stock 350 L05, with a holley 670cfm TBI unit on it, no headers, manual trans, non EGR. It runs great when its warmed up. The problem i seem to have is when the engine is cold or under a certain temp (I cant remember if its open loop at that point or closed loop, its been a while) The car slightly idles up and down to the point where you can hear the TPS taking over to give it a little gas to keep it from idling too low. Then the throttle isnt as snappy if you punch it and could back fire or pop when you punch it. But if you take it easy when accelerating its fine until you get high in the RPMs for that gear, it almost feels like you just ran out of power or hit a limiter. But like i said after it warms up you dont get any of that.

It hasnt been a big deal because i just let it warm up or take it easy for a bit. But now that i have a little bit of time i would like to smooth it out. I use WINALDL and tuner pro, i have the quick connect chip adapter on my PCM, and i have the USB chip burner for my computer. Im probably going to be a little rusty and have to dig out my equipment, but can someone work with me on getting my tune adjusted. I just need to know what you guys need to see for a datalog, and do i need to upload my .bin?

Can i read and download my current bin from my chip cause im not sure which bin in my files is the one that is actually on the chip in my car. I have some spread sheet the the user that helped me before gave me for importing, adjusting, and exporting BLMs and stuff like that.

Let me know guys, and thanks!

Sounds like an acceleration enrichment issue aka pumpshot. There is a coolant compensation table for AE. Give it more AE for cool coolant temps. The Holley 670 TB just adds to the issue. That is OL until coolant reaches approx 165F. then it is CL.

Re: Couple Tiny Questions

My car is currently in storage but hope to get it out in the next week, when i do ill dig out tuning equipment and do a datalog and read my bin. Can i send you some datalogs and my bin for you to checkout? How do you want me to datalog? Should i datalog exactly while the car is having the problems? Thanks, ive been reading back through all my old posts, its been a while!
