%TPS Factor and tips for AE logs

Looking to get AE worked out. I am either bogging rich or if pull out a little fuel I am lean and lazy. I have had some luck with %BPW enrichment from the original 0 in first 3 cells to max 3.98 and I can bark tires but doesn't seem to grab to PE. Lazy

What is the %TPS factor? How is it calculated I like to log in TP the % TPS position by cruise,AE,PE modes based on my tables. That way I can hopefully narrow down my BLM and INT and MAF at each transition. I am assuimg since TPS is .54-4.5V that the range is a % of 4 volts. So a 50% TPS value is 2.5Volts?

In my logs the BLM lock out at 128 just before PE. I am seeing as TPS goes up I spike lean for INT o2 drops lean then PE kicks in at 950-1000mV. If I do it gradual it is feels a little better, pulls stronger not as lean INT. If I hot the TPS hard and spike to 4volts. I immediately bog hit 1000mv.

Re: %TPS Factor and tips for AE logs

I've always thought of AE factors as boiling done to three thing.\

How soon, how much, how long.

How soon, helps get rid of the bog, but not so soon that the slightest touch adds AE, other wise kiss gas milage goodbye

How much, I think of as AFR related. I try to keep mine from dumping in so much fuel to keep it from going so low that it dips into the 11-10 rang.

How long. As I get up into higher MAP and RPM values, AE becomes less of a factor, as the RPM isn't changing as quickly, and it flows back onto the fuel tables. I think of AE in the true sense of the word "Acceleration". As time during acceleration goes by, you speed up, the car may be going faster, but you are accelerating less quickly in terms of change, so the AE drops off accordingly

Maybe that helps, maybe not.

Re: %TPS Factor and tips for AE logs

I agree with you. The question is which tables relate to how much, long, much and how does that relate to a INT log during AE?

so %TPS enable and LV8 enable control when. I agree about gas MPG. I had mine from 1.5 to 3 but too low and used AE too much Stock lv8 was 20. I bumped my TPS to 4.2 (stock was 3.9) This is around .77volts TPS I checked my log I cruse right .66-.74 I think I was sitting at .72-.74 before and cruise with rich BLM and INT because of this. Also had bog when punched. Same goes for LV8 I was at 14-18lv8 changes just at cruise

The %BPW AE Factor for delta load i think has a big impact for cruise vs WOT response fuel (how much) I found that mid throttle cruise to WOT felt best. and looking at logs I was right at 128+/- few points before WOT made sense. so 0-64 lv8 are ok but immediate WOT I was spiking lean, steep curve INT up to 138 before PE need more 128-196 fuel

The Async pulses at 12-13 stock I left alone I appear to be getting fuel and hitting long enough for PE. I gauge this by the INT lean spike and if it starts to recover downward prior to AE or does it sit lean then PE and goes to 128.

The Async enrichment pulses 1-8. Is where I want that strong or soft pedal feel. Have not figured that out yet. I am looking at the front of the lean INT curve. If it spikes hard up and down like Christmas tree before pe or is it softer. I like to feel tire bark ar launch without bog after. I am playing with just 3-4 range in first cell and svere taper off to 0 in cells 2-8
