Prom I/O returned failure in Tunerpro?

I'm completely new to the whole idea of flashing chips and could use a hand getting started. First of all I have a Moates Autoprom and am using Tunerpro V5.
I have the APU1 on com 3 and it seems to be recognized and is showing up on the bottom of the screen "Hardware: Autoprom v2.17.A. I am able to blank check the chip, and it seems to load my BIN to the buffer ok. But when I hit "Program chip", I get the error "prom I/O returned failure.
Under preferences, Data acq/Emulation, I have interface type set to Autoprom/MAFTPro and on the APU1 I have the inner dip switch set out and the outer dipswitch set inwards. Chip is loaded with the notch facing the handle and oriented outboard from the handle. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm sure its gotta be something simple.

I figured it out. That was a facepalm moment after I finally saw it too.
