Finding data in regards to code 36 and a different question

Hi there folks,

Finally got myself some tuning equipment/burning equipment.

My primary purpose for doing this was to eliminate this code, I see the flag to disable it easy enough, but I have a different question.

I remember seeing a while back that an individual who was having trouble with the burnoff was able to see what the sensor was sending to the ecm.

As in the voltages being seen by the ecm to trip the code.

I don't mind having the burnoff feature, but I suspect the relays I have tried have been outside the parameters the computer is looking for. I've gone through the flow chart, and swapped MAFs in the past, I've got no other conclusions!

If possible, I would like to be able to see what the computer sees in regards to this, and where I need to go in order to adjust those parameters.

Any help?

Also, my ecm had AKFW bin, I found that this was superseded by ANPJ. I am looking to upgrade to APYS or ANYX. Looking HERE the two codes should essentially be the same. I haven't seen a lot of people using this bin, and am wondering if I will run into any issues?

I've read that APYS might actually be for a 3.08 rear end and not the 3.45 like I thought.

Will be burning my first chip tonight!

Thanks!

Some info on MAF, MAF burn off and Code 36

You can monitor blue wire voltage after shut down.

APYS is for 3.08 LB9 T5, 1989. I have attached my OEM APYS .BIN so you can compare it to your AKFW using TunerPro' s difference tool. If you don't know how, just attached your OEM AKFW .BIN and I'll take a look at it.

You can also modify $6E mask to datalog MAF voltage input B12. Here's how (take time to read the whole thing):
