140 speedo

i picked up a 140 speedo ,currently have a 110 in a 91 z28 just wondering if anyone swaped clusters and had to change anything eles to get speedo correct. thanks..

The 91's are all electronic, they should just drop right in

Welcome to TGO, midnight. Since many questions have been asked and answered, I search is generally a good idea. FYI: 82-89 clusters are mechanical, 90+ electronic.

Really? Because the cluster in my '89 is electronic too. And I switched from a lower-rated speedometer to a 140 with no problems. And the 140 speedometer was out of an '88.

I was speaking of Camaro clusters. IIRC, some Birds were equipped with electronic speedos as early as 86.
