Upgrading engine to chassis connection.
I want to upgrade the "big 3" wires for my stereo setup ( battery negative to chassi, alternator to battery positive, and engine to chassis) to higer gauge wire.
I had read that the case of the alternator is what grounds it to the engine. If that's the case, then could I connect the new engine to chassis wire to the case of the alternator (with a mounting bolt most likely)?
Or would that not give me the results I'm looking for?
