How Do You Pull Codes ????

Ok so I jumped my terminals 5-6 because I've got a 92' , now it displayed the SES light in the series of flashes and pauses. Now Ive heard that reffered to as code "12" , now it did this for a long time. Are the other flashes determining the trouble codes or is it gonna display actual numbers???? I need help please!!

No it won't display any numbers, it will however flash at you a certain number of times for each code. FLASH..FLASH FLASH will equate to the number 12 which is the normal code. when it goes FLASH FLASH...FLASH FLASH, this is code 22 which is for the TPS system. Each code will flash 3 times before proceeding to the next code. After all codes stored in the memory have processed the cycle will start all over until you pull the jumper from the connector. Do not start the car with the jumper wire in place on your car, very bad things could happen if you did.

Dude you always seem to come through will all my problems thanks alot. But just one thing , I wanna make sure I got this right . It will display the code "12" the normal code three times. Then all the trouble codes , and then back to the "12" again or does it just keep displaying the trouble?

It reverts back to the beginning and starts with code 12 and then the trouble codes.

Thanks soo much man. Maybe one day , just maybe ... I can stop fixing my car and try and make it cooler. ie Ive been putting off the exhaust system for about a year due to the fact that as soon as I fix anything , something else breaks. I know it's a money pit , but I can see past that, to what it will one day be. Wouldnt trade it for anything. Id rather push my car than drive an import lol
