Hi Guys

My 85' 305 TPI has been bogging out at low revs at very light throttle

no codes at all

however last night while cruising home the engine light came on , when i pulled over the light was still on

When I read the codes it only came up with code 12 and nothing else????

Any ideas?

car has had new injectors, dizzy cap, rotor, plugs, leads, fuel filter, inlet gaskets

Any help would be epic

I am having the same trouble with my 91 LB9, but no engine code. From idle to 1500 RPM it chugs and you can feel a bad vibration, especially in 5th gear.
I data logged and found nothing unusual. I am going to start pulling plugs this weekend.
Did you check for vacuum leaks? Do you have an AFR gauge?

 

Hi, managed to read a code 32 last night so im looking into the EGR today after work !

mine vibrates on the run down, unsure if its diff related or a bearing, probs not related

 

Check your coil carefully. My brand new MSD coil was the problem...
