Started the car today to put it into winter storage and GUESS what happened!!!! The speedometer and tach needles don't move at all, whatsoever! Does this mean my cluster just took a crap? I have a 145 MPH unit ready to go in but the problem is it shows 180k miles to my cars 60k.

Take the ODO roll out of the old one and put it in the new one. Don't go adjusting the millage tho. Numbers won't line up perfectly anymore and a sure way for anyone that knows to know the millage has been altered.

Check other things if it doesn't pan out. Connector at the side of the tranny, fuses, electrical contact points at the back of the cluster for dirt or corrosion ect.
