Pos. Batt Terminal melted...

That's right, the positive battery terminal on my 89'RS melted in two!!!!

That is a lil hot for the positive to be runnin.

I am replacing the wire down to the starter, which is burnt down by the header...but not touching it. Could this be why it is so hot?
What else should I be looking for?

Car still fires up, runs....but that thing gets HOT!!!!

Thanks, guys.

Taking it to the track this weekend...so need to get this solved!!
