Ok I have a 1990 with no ECM hook up, how do I unwire
the INFL REST light without removing the dash bulb
so that it does not come on and the security light as well
since it did operate from the ECM and the VATS etc. ?

Thank you

well as a thought I will try to disconnect all the SIRS wiring and the relays and modules that it uses to see
where this leads. I thought someone might have done this elimination when they went to a NON-ECM car ?....

I know to disable the airbag you just have to unplug the yellow terminal plug at the base of the steering column. I don't know if it will kill everything related to the air bag though. This '92 I'm tearing down had two sensors/actuators under the console. From what I understand everything with yellow plugs is related to the airbag.

Removing the dash bulb is real easy. Takes about 15 minutes.

really looking for a way not to remove the bulb maybe find the wire to it and cap it off.....as the more bulbs you remove the less light you have on a crappy lit dash alreadt lol.....
