universal hei big cap and rotor?
i got one of those el cheapo distributors online and it worked pretty good till i got dirt and oil on the rubber insulator that goes under the coil... i pulled my cap and found that it had melted the insulator and through the bottom of the cap... so i need a new cap where do i get one from? its got the springloaded locking tabs instead of screws. i also need some sbc 90deg plug wires if anyone has a part number for those. just need something cheap to get me around for now and that i can pick up from a local parts store... vatozone advanced napa or oriellys

i thought the stock caps had hold down screws? this one has L shaped spring bolts that you push down and twist and they lock under the distributor.

if its a stock cap awsome what years did they come on though? i went from tbi to carb so it wasnt stock on my car. sorry for the dumb questions i have no problem ripping something a part and putting it back together but when it comes to ignition parts i have no idea as this was my first time going from efi to carb.
