Interior lights.....

i have an 86 firebird trans am...my interior lights(dash and shifter console) go out about every three days then come back on the next day or so.... i want to fix it but im not sure of the wire to fix...any help??

Axle/Gears: beats me

May need to clean up/replace the rheostat.

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt / 3.31 12 bolt

The rheostat being the dash dimmer.
