Turn signal issues

Sup guys. I need help. sometimes when I engage the right turn signal, it'll stop blicking and the light will freeze. There is no flashing at all, just a lit light. Now If I wiggle the turn signal lever, sometimes it'll begin to work correctly as in it'll begin to click on and off. So what could be the issue here? Can it be a bad turn signal cam or relay? Any advice helps. Thanks

Sorry that I couldn't be of more help buddy.......... Your problem could be the lever arm itself!(just guessing).

Re: Turn signal issues

Try replacing the bulbs for the side that does this first - could be a bulb getting ready to go out, and if the bulb goes out this will happen.

Re: Turn signal issues

New doesn't mean squat. A "new" package may contain a 2056 and a 2057. A 2056 could have gotten stamped with a 2057 stamp. You think they test every light bulb that comes off the line? If new meant anything, then none of us would ever buy a bad "new" spark pulg wire - but they are bad out of the box 30% of the time.

Bulbs are easier to check than getting a steering wheel puller and tearing apart the steering column to get to the turn signal lever - thus my suggestion. Change out the bulbs again on that side. It's $4 and 10 minutes to double check.

I agree, but my issue is the turn signal, not a spark plug wire. Let me get back to the subject at hand. So I looked under the steering column and felt around for the ticking as the signal light is engaging ( left signal light ). As I felt around, I located the part that was ticking. I tapped it to see if anything would budge. So I engaged the right signal and still nothing. I began to fiddle with the wires that where protuding from the steering column "tube." Then the signal light worked. I moved around more and it would stop, then go agian. Thats when I noticed that the wiring harness was out of its little housing brace. Upon further inspection, the harness was'nt fully connected. So I connected them together and made sure that they where tightly fastened and BOOM!!! Problem solved. Thanks for the advice and help guys.
