I'm in the process of replacing all my interior bulbs with LEDs. So far I've done all the gauge cluster backlights and indicators. In case anyone is curious, the digital dash takes 6x 194 wedge bulbs for backlights (2 are actually inside the DIC module), and 7x 74 wedge bulbs for the indicator lights (turn signals, high beam, SES light, etc).

I still need to do the digital dash buttons, the ones to the left of the trip computer are burned out, as well as the ones in the rear defrost and hatch release. Does anyone know what size bulb these take? I also need to do the ones in the HVAC panel, I think they are also 74 type, but I'm not sure. I tried to take the switches apart, but I was afraid I was going to break them. I have a couple spares in storage, I need to go grab one and try to get it apart.

Edit: I need to find some better LED bulbs for the DIC module too, you can see how much darker it is in the pics. On all of the other panels, the bulbs point straight back at the panels, but in the DIC they point straight up. I'm going to try some LED bulbs that have LEDs on the sides.

I just got an 87 gta with the digital dash and some of the tach tick marks dont light up, would replacing the blubs help with that?

Also the mileage indicator doesnt read quite right, some of the numbers have too many lines/missing lines. Would this be solved by new blubs or is this a different issue?
