Check engine light code 32

hello everyone,
I am new to the Camaro world and have to say that i love the cars. I bought a 1984 2.8 V6 and have since found out it needs some TLC. I just fixed one check engine light problem but then it came up with a code 32. I was reading the post here and it appears that code 32 is a EGR problem. This makes my life harder because the genius who owned the car before me thought it would be a great idea to tear out the EGR system. Is there anything I can do to fix the check engine light problems with the EGR system removed? Any help is appreciated.

Hello aacw0001!!

The guy who had your car before probably thought that the car would be better with no EGR!! If the EGR system is gone, one way to get the light to go out is to have it programed out from the ECM prom chip!! Another way would be to re-install the EGR system!! Should be an EGR valve, and an EGR solenoid, and some vaccum hose!!

You can contact a forum member by the name of Chevy8588!!

He's got a couple of ideas that may help you!!
