Power Windows

ok Help, I have a 89 GTA, my power windows have not been working, I've checked the voltage at the switch and today when I plugged the switch back in the windows went down and up with no problem, I left them down, it was a sunny day, now the windows will not go back up, I still have 12v DC at the switch. Any ideas? also the blower motor doesn't work. Is there any way to run these windows back up until I can fix the problem?

Re: Power Windows

i have 84 ta and my window on drivers side works intermittently, my problem is a bad connector inside the door that connects to the motor itself...I just hit my door and try again, usually works, but the connector slips off now and then when I drift a corner sometimes lol. If you have power at the switch, have you checked for power at the motor? If no power there, then its between switch and motor. Do your windows go up and down really slowly when they do work? If so, might think about looking into motors as well however, sometimes they can get dirty and a quick spray of electric parts cleaner can temporarily speed up operation. But I'm not an expert on this stuff, just thought I'd throw it out there.
