Digital 6al problems? Help!

Digital 6al problems? Help!
Ok so just purchased a new digital 6al, blaster 2 coil, and msd pro billet for my street strip 85 firebird project. Wired up everything just the way it says too but the engine will not start. Timing light shows its firing while cranking but its not even hitting? Took the distributor out and rotated it 180 degrees just in case and still nothing. Its getting fuel, apparently fire according to the timing light and has compression but im not even getting a sputter. Whats the deal? Im lost.

Try this, where your no. 1 Plug on the distributor is ( front right), rotate all your plug wires on the distributor one to the right. Same thing happened to me....

Ive had to resort to that same thing before and i didn't even think to try it because even then i thought it would at least try to hit but ive got nothing but a cranking engine and a flashing timing light. But at this point im gonna try anything. Thanks.

Any other ideas? Already tried two different coils as well. Two brand new ones. Im just so confused as to how if the timing light is flashing, the plugs are wet, and i checked the compression (which it has 190 psi across the board) it should run or at least do something? But it just cranks like i have the ignition turned off.

Are you absoulutely positive you have the motor timed right? When the mark on your crank is straight up is the distributor pointing at no.1cylinder?

If its timed right.
I know folks hate it, but its a good tool, just over used at times.
Try some starting fluid, if it will not fire that off the spark is bad.
If it does try to start you know its fuel.
Dunno about digital, but my reg 6al I tried to bundle to many wires together and has cross talk, there was a reason they had em come out at different ends.
Also new parts aren't always good parts, could be a bad part, got anything you can swap back in that you know worked?
They do have a nice tech forum, learned allot there.

Yes when the mark was on 0 it pointed at number one. (Both ways actually cause i tried to see if it was 180 degrees out). And i suppose i could swap back in my locked out mallory distributor but i dont have start retard with it and the last i used it it broke my starter housing.

Plus the whole point of this swap was to improve the startability and performance of my car. Going back to that is not what i want to do. NOw if it is the box thats bad I have no problem sending it back and getting a regular 6al. I only got the digital cause no chips and hotter spark plus it was only 15 bucks more.

Pull a plug wire, put a plug in it and see if you are getting a strong shock.... I usually put my finger in the plug wire but I'm an idiot.

Why I said saw back some of your old parts that you KNOW worked.
Use them to figure out whats bad, or just keep buy new parts that fail
