Back hatch motor trouble

Not sure if this goes here, hope it does. The motor isn't coming on at all. JTS, Joe, is going to see if any of the fuses are bad or if there is a wire that's disconnected. If none of those fix the problem are there any other things we should look at before saying the motor is just trashed and needs replacement?

Re: Back hatch motor trouble

If it is getting power and ground and still not working then your motor is trash. Otherwise fix the power/ground issues.

Re: Back hatch motor trouble

Thanks, we found out the motor is toast. But we've got it closing and opening, so its all good for now, at least we can use the tiny trunk. Do need to get new struts for the back hatch though.
