86 camaro cluster wiring pins?

I'm putting some auto meter gauges in my camaro and trying to figure out the cluster wiring pin outs.

I figured out most of them by just tracing the circuits on the back of the factory cluster, but there are a few on the passenger side that I can't identify.

I found this post here:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...e-cluster.html

But there is no way the passenger pin out is correct in that diagram. I can easily trace the Right Turn Signal indicator and it should be number 5 on the passenger side, not number 12. Number 12 I traced and it looks more like Check Engine light rather than number 5. Those two seem to be reversed but there are others that seem completely off. Like 14 it says is the choke, but on mine it's easy to trace 14 to the shift up indicator. And it doesn't have a shift up indicator listed at all. So I'm assuming this is from a TPI 86 or something like that.

The driver side connector on that diagram matches with what I figured out through tracing.

On the passenger side, I'm pretty sure I got the follow figured out:

5 - Right Turn Signal

7 - Unused (no pin on the circuit board at all here)
8 - Unused
9 - Choke Light power
10 - Choke Light Ground
11 - Fuel Signal
12 - Check Engine Light
13 - Ground
14 - Shift up Light

1,2, and 3 trace into a plug that goes into a little yellow box and then has wires coming out going over to the speedometer. 3 Also appears to be either a ground or a signal for the tach or oil pressure but I'm not sure which.

4 is either a ground or signal for the tack or oil pressure I think

6 is either a ground or signal for the tack or oil pressure

9 & 10 are a little confusing. It seems like the choke indicator is an oddball and always has power but it completes the ground when the choke is on? The thing that makes me think this is because the voltmeter only has two legs. One I'm almost positive is a ground, the other goes through the choke light, and also up to the fuel gauge. So I'm thinking it's an always powered line. If this is correct, are all the lights like this? If so I'm going to have to rethink some of the ones that I was thinking was a ground line that might actually instead be the power line with the ones I thought were power being grounds. I can figure that out for sure later with a multi-meter but just adding it to my thoughts here while posting.

Thanks for any assistance!

EDIT:
Just to note took my multi-meter out and tested it, looks like it is that some lines have +12v and the ground is completed in order to turn the particular light on. I'm not sure offhand what advantage that gives I'm guessing just fewer fuses to go through or something like that? In this case actually that makes perfect sense, there is only 1 gauges fuse that I know of, so one +12v shared among all the gauges. So I'm guessing that one I was almost positive was a ground I had backwards as well and it's probably the +12v line lol.

Re: 86 camaro cluster wiring pins?

Anyone that can help with this? I really need to try and get these gauges wired tonight but I still have no idea on the top row passenger side pins. One of them is the tach and one of them is the oil pressure and I really need those two for wiring my new gauges! =/
