VATS Clue

When removing my center console, I found writing , with a black magic marker, on the inside of the armrest cover. Written by the latch opening was "chip#13". I am thinking this is the VATS resistor number for my (only!) key.
1.) is that correct? Is it the VATS resistor number of the key?
2.) Is this a factory placed marking ?

Re: VATS Clue

Measure the resistance of the pellet in your key and see if it matches # 13 on the list.
